Knives Out (2019)

4/5 - I donโ€™t usually like this type of film but this was great

D.E.B.S. (2004)

3/5 - Bit cringe in places, but I'll allow it. The early 2000's CGI is amazing

Deadpool (2016)

3/5 - It's fine, it was better the first time, but not engaging on the second watch ๐Ÿ˜ž

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013)

2/5 - They should've stopped with the first one. The art and most of the comedy are good, but the plot and reliance on the first movie ruin it.

No Time to Die (2021) ๐Ÿฟ

3/5 - For my first Bond film in years, it was pretty engaging. I imagine with all the context of the previous films, I would've enjoyed it more.

Toy Story 4 (2019) ๐Ÿฟ

4/5 - What a beautiful movie. After avoiding it for fear of it just being another cash-grab sequel, I could not have been more wrong. The story is excellent and ends the saga well. The visuals are outstanding and far outshine anything I've seen recently.

The Birdcage (1996) ๐Ÿฟ

1/5 - I have mixed feelings about this one. (Spoilers ahead). There are some lovely moments, but some of the main characters are awful people, and it's never resolved. They get away with treating people poorly when they should know better (Val), and it's frustrating they're never really confronted for it. I guess you could argue that part of the social commentary, but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Phantom of the Opera (2004) ๐Ÿฟ

3/5 - Overall, very good, having only ever listened to the soundtrack, it was good to get some context for the music. The movie was overall ok. Makes me want to see it live, though.
